# About Us

RideTo was born from our founder James’ own experience learning to ride. As a new rider caught by the riding bug in 2016 he found the process of getting on two wheels confusing, lacking transparency, and bit behind the times. With an idea for something different RideTo was founded.  
Since then we’ve expanded quickly, investing heavily in our platform to provide new tools for learners to be better, safer riders. We’re just getting started on our mission to make it safer and easier for more people to experience the joy of two wheels.
